Our JuiceBox Project Director, Anjali Haripriyan, has this week helped us to a milestone in our experience with Shine. In the last 11 months, the Shine team has worked tirelessly to harness the generosity of local and national organizations and businesses and many Portland locals.
As of today, we have fundraised $30,000 for our JuiceBox and ShowerPod projects, with an additional $10,000 from the 2017-18 Lexus EcoChallenge on its way to Catlin Gabel's Team 1540 (www.team1540.org) for WashPod, the next big project for Shine (coming Early 2018).
Congratulations to all!!
Please consider donating to help us reach our goal of 100 JuiceBoxes by the end of this year. We need $10,000 to reach our goal—enough money to change the lives of 25 previously homeless Portlanders and inspire youth in our community to make their future world a better place.
Your donation will provide new opportunities to a previously homeless Portlander.
All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of proceeds support our cause and the causes of our fiscal sponsor, the ReBuilding Center (www.rebuildingcenter.org)
Happy Holidays,
Solomon Olshin and the Shine Team
